Greg Whatley,

Mountain Event’s owner and lead DJ, has 20 years experience in the music and DJ field. Along with being a DJ/MC, Greg is also a certified audio engineer, owns a recording studio and works live sound at many events.So, he truly makes sure that ALL your guests hear YOUR ceremony service vows, your “I do’s” and “I now pronounce…” will be shared with everyone in attendance. If you hire live musicians, Greg will make sure they are incorporated into his sound system as well. If you have a friend do a reading or sing a song during your ceremony, he will provide wireless microphones for them as well.

He’s DJ’d  weddings in Sacramento,Roseville,Roclkin,Loomis,Auburn, Colfax, Truckee Reno and Lake Tahoe, Foresthill and Woodland .He also has DJ’d receptions and ceremonies at Alta Sierra, The Ridge, Auburn Valley, Edgewood at Tahoe, Winchester, Sunset Whitney, Morgan Creek, The Fliers and Deer Valley Country Clubs.

Weddings at The Harmony Ridge Lodge, Empire Mine State Park ,The Miners Foundry, Kistler Ranch, Windfall Weddings  and River Highlands Ranch. The Nevada City and Grass Valley Elks Clubs as well. He has provided music and videotaped  ceremonies at St.Canice , St.Patrick ,Holy Trinity Churches.In his home town(s) of Grass Valley and Nevada City he has established himself as at fun,versatile, experienced DJ and wedding music/reception specialist. …And, most importantly…he LOVE’S his job!

Has been our “GO TO” DJ for eight years now. He specializes in weddings and receptions and is fantastic with brides, grooms their family and guests. He also has a genuine fun personality with a great attention to detail. He makes sure your ceremony and reception run as smoothly as you and your fiance dreamed it would!

Joined Mountain Event four years ago and has been a great addition to our staff. Robin’s personal touch with his Brides and Grooms has garnered him a great reputation and has earned him personal “word of mouth” referrals ever since. Robin has an easy going engaging personality, yet he keeps the party jumping with a great knowledge and range of music styles. From smaller private residence receptions to large venues such as Empire Mine State Park, Robin is a fun choice as your wedding DJ.
